You have reached the home of the 4th place mid-size International Sweet Adelines' chorus!

We are also the 2011 Region 19 Chorus Champions with a score of 643!

The Upper Chesapeake Chorus is an extraordinary group of over 50 women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop music. The chorus is currently the FIRST place mid-size chorus, and First place overall chorus of the Atlantic Bay-Mountain, Region 19 chapter of Sweet Adelines International.  After recently attending the Sweet Adelines International Harmony Classic competition in Houston, Texas, we are also the fourth place mid-size chorus in the WORLD!  We are also one of the premier performance groups of Central Maryland.  A small group of 15 ladies from our group also competed and won the first Harford's Got Talent competition in 2010 in Bel Air, MD.

Our master director is the wonderful and award-winning Rick Taylor, who inspires us to reach new heights with each rehearsal and performance. We can be heard throughout the year, singing for public and private groups, community events, and fundraisers.

We love to entertain by putting on our own musical events each year for the community, our friends, and families. We send "singing telegrams" on Valentine's Day. And being true to our commitment to sing and perform at the highest level possible, we compete each year in the Sweet Adelines International Regional Competition in Ocean City, MD.
