![]() GraceNotes Quartet Contact: gracenoteslead@gmail.com
The GraceNotes quartet originated in November 2008 and we are proud to say we still have all of our founding members!
Christine Pappas is our wonderful Lead. She is a working mom with 2 adorable girls and a third on the way! Christine is always on the go, but finds enough time to sing with Upper Chesapeake and fit in quartet rehearsal. The "Gracies" would like to say a big thank you to her husband Michael for letting her come and play with us! Tarjia Johnson is our fantastic Bass! She sings with the Harbor City Music Company and we are all so grateful we found her! As some people say a quartet without a bass is just a small glee club In her free time when she isn't hanging out with the quartet, Tarjia is busy with her photography and just published her first book! (Ask her how you can buy one!) Cathy "Schwartzie" Schwartz is our rockin' Baritone. Cathy also sings with Upper Chesapeake. Cathy is our quartet therapist as in her "real" life she is the Guidance department chair at Randallstown High School. With two grown and gainfully employed (yeah) children, Cathy likes to stay active walking, biking and playing tennis...and listening to music, of course! That leaves our Tenor, Lacey Moore. When she isn't singing with Upper Chesapeake or the quartet, she - oh wait, that is all she does! Lacey lives in Abingdon with her patient husband Chris and their furry 4-legged children ( who are also very patient)! We would like to thank everyone for their support on our journey and we hope that we continue to grow, laugh and sing together! In harmony, The Gracies
